Mgt: It is most likely a viral illness, but if there is fever, prolonged cough or any pain, I would advise a follow up visit.

Exposure To PNA: If there was not much close contact, brother diagnosed with PNA by his doctor and treated soon, just observe. Make sure s/he drinks enough fluid. eating reasonably, active, not sick looking. keep an eye; may be this is viral illness. If any worsening, e.g. higher fever, more cough, breathing heavy, reduced oral intake, etc. then make a trip to the pediatrician's office. No antibiotic at this point
