Not really...: The way you ask the question, I assume you mean some sort of chronic neurological problem. The answer is a definite no; HSV doesn't do that. Recurrent outbreaks can be preceded by "prodrome" of tingling or pain, which has a neurological origin. And rarely HSV2 can cause recurrent outbreaks of the membranes covering the brain, with recurrent aseptic meningitis. Otherwise no neurological worries.
