Check for yeast: Most common cause of vaginal discomfort is a yeast infection.Other common causes include an allergy or sensitivity to something your skin is coming into contact with, infected sweat glands or hair follicles, vulvar varicose veins, and more.Use a mirror to see if you notice any changes in the area of discomfort.See your provider if you can't figure it out and it continues to be bothersome or worsens.
