Xanax (alprazolam) seems more effective to me when taken on an empty stomach. is there truth to this? i know it's definitely true with alcohol on empty stomach.

Rapid absorption: Xanax (alprazolam) is absorbed in the stomach pretty quickly. It is probably absorbed more rapidly when the stomach is empty. Same is true for alcohol.
