Should i be concerned if the only symptom i have from hitting my head on something hard is a headache?

Not really: As long as your headaches are not debilitating and cause significant impairment such any nausea and/or vomiting, confusion, or weakness/numbness. However, if any of the above symptoms do occur, I suggest a visit to an ER to rule out any true brain injury issues.
