Headaches: Most causes of headaches are benign. That is - the worst thing about them is that they hurt. Headaches that subside are almost always benign. At your age, a headache on one side that lasts a few days is probably a migraine.
The injury you had more than one year ago is not likely to be a factor to this headache symptom. Hope that helps!

Med eval: Symptoms of a concussion can include: headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, blurred vision, slurred speech, weakness, feeling dazed, numbness, lack of coordination, problems with short term memory, dizziness as well as repeating things over and over. You can develop a concussion with or without loss of consciousness. Recommend medical evaluation for your symptoms.

Good idea: To see a doctor for a physical exam. A neurologist would be a good pick to rule out any potential dangers such as concussion, small brain bleeds, using history, physical exam and imaging if necessary.
