Limit sun exposure: If body parts which are not exposed to the sun are still fair, then that is still your natural skin coloring, and the darkened (tanned) areas will gradually fade (over weeks to months) if you stay out of the sun and use a strong sunscreen when you are outdoors. Some bleaches and whitening creams may damage the skin, so only use such products under your doctor's care.
