Why take it?: If you can fall asleep on your own, you should not be taking a sedating pill on a regular basis. At the most, take it only when needed. If you do need to take a sleeping pill regularly, you should get evaluated to find out the cause instead of only treating the symptoms since no sleeping pill can provide a natural sleep cycle.

Talk to doctor: Review this med including if dose is too high causing sedation with your prescribing doctor. You should have clear instructions on when to take and common side effects. Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic, to be taken daily for specific serious psychiatric symptoms. I hope this helps. All the best.
