No: Mesenteric panniculitis is a nonspecific, benign inflammatory disease of the adipose tissue of the intestinal mesentery that can occur independently or in association with other disorders.Presentation ranges from an asymptomatic finding to one of pain or intestinal obstruction.Treatment with anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive agents, or occasional surgery, is indicated for symptomatic patients
