Totally Fine!: Thats completely fine! You can alternate Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Motrin/Ibuprofen without any problems. Tylenol (acetaminophen) should be no more than 4,000 mg in a 24 hour time period (so 1,000 mg every 6 hours) and Motrin no more than 2,400 mg in 24 hours (800mg every 8 hours). Make sure to take Advil/Motrin/ibuprofen with some food to avoid stomach irritation.
