Likely normal: If your cut was deep enough, you may have cut some of the superficial sensory nerves, which is causing the numbness. This should grow back in time, up to a month or more. The lumps are probably scar tissue that will shrink and soften over time, too, up to 6 months or a year. If you have redness, warmth, drainage, or increasing pain, get seen to make sure there is no infection.
