Hi my 12 year old has a large skin tag on her back she has to go and get it off tomorrow but i've noticed its went a bit black in the centre of it sho?

Biopsy: The tag may have had some internal bleeding leading to the color change. Ask your MD to send it for pathology if you are worried about cancer risks. Generally skin tags are not high risk for this but if you have a strong family history of malignant melanoma review the risks with the MD taking the tag off. Good luck to you!
