Could still be GB: When you say the gallbladder is normal, how was it evaluated? You can have gallbladder disease even though it looks normal on ultrasound. You also could have a functional or inflammatory bowel disease. A G.I. doc can help sort those out.

Back to basics: Have you started a trial of stomach acid blockers such as zantac (ranitidine) or prilosec? Also, are you regular in your bowel movements? When your stomach fills with food your colon may be signaled to evacuate (gastrocolic reflex). If you are not having a BM regularly this may lead to general abd cramping. Be sure to drink lots of water and get plenty of fiber in your diet.
