Fetus hydronephrosis: congenital hydronephrosis is very common. The obstruction in the outflow track of urine causes it and what caused this obstruction? It could be anything from position of the baby in uterine to ligaments around renal pelvis being tight to bladder inlet obstruction. Usually prognosis is good. Most of time resolves by itself-- needs close monitoring though. Sometimes might need surgical intervention.
