Why: You had surgery and don't know why? I would start by asking the surgeon. Presumably you had highly enlarged tonsil and they may have been interfering with your airway, but a group of internet doctors can't know what actually happened to you.

I had my tonsils removed four years ago, I just so happened to look in my throat and its white on both sides of my uvula like in my soft palette. Not patches no pain? Its equal on both sides, its not removable its the color of my throat skin?
