A member asked:

If you have had an ultrasound done showing you are just under 4 weeks pregnant on the 5 of april how do you work out when you might have conceived ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

good at five weeks: Ultrasound really only valid when it shows a five-week pregnancy. The ultrasound dating is counted from the first day of bleeding in the most recent period so conception would be about two weeks later. Report that indicates a less than four weeks gestational age probably does not show evidence of pregnancy.
