L4-5 herniation compressing thecal sac & l5 root. pain & neuropathy. dr. wants 2 do injections. aren't these temporary? won't i need surgery anyway?

See Neurosurgeon: If the symptoms of disc herniation have improved over the initial 3 months post-onset, and are continuing to improve after epidural, then typically no surgery is necessary. Have a neurosurgeon to look at your MRI.
