Sorry,can't help you: The reason--multiple pregnancies pose an increased risk to both. See the booklet for parents prepared by the American Socienty of Reproductiie Medicine. One startling statistic: "after ultrasound has shown heart movement in twins, spontaneous loss of one of the fetuses occurs in up to 20% of twin pregnancies." plus a much higher serious complication rate.

U get what U get: Short if IVF at a fertility center ($$$) you have the same chance of twins that anyone has in any pregnancy. Genetics has some influence, but there is no plan you can follow to make it happen.
