The nerves in the...: head and face are intricately wired & densely packed. The brain can get confused about where a sensation is coming from. Pain, burning, throbbing and other unpleasant sensations that recur are signs that a sensory nerve may be irritated or inflamed. Just because it's confined to your head doesn't mean it's "all in your head". Please see a doctor!
