A member asked:

Can i tattoo directly on an ilven - a inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal naevus? i will definitely get tattooed, just question of where.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally it's best: ...not to tattoo in an area where the skin is abnormal. So, the short answer of where is "anywhere else." but there. The results, both aesthetic and dermatologic, are difficult to predict. If you're tattooing in order to disguise a skin problem, you should check with a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon first. Best wishes.
