Pregnancy bleeding: The embryo implants into the blood lining of the uterus, this can trigger bleeding, then as the placenta grows it can invade a blood vessel and more bleeding can happen, a low implantation can progress to a miscarriage or as the uterus grows then move away from the cervix. Getting an ultrasound now that you are 9 weeks will help you know it is okay. Bed rest does not change miscarriage risk.
