Either a way to fix shin splints, or even manage them better than constant heat/ice gel and ibuprofen.

More rest, less bull: Shin splints are a stress related syndrome, too much activity and not enough healing time. You need to allow for more recovery time for the soft tissue to repair. Ice, ibuprofen, heat help, but the ultimate relief comes with resting the legs. Compression sleeves have been reported to help with the treatment also.
