Not recommended: 1st, 1mg Xanax (alprazolam) is a good size dose. 2nd, we don't recommend use as you've asked about which "may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating" (http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=133-54,896-16076). Besides, that much Xanax should knock you out so you shouldn't need zzzQuil. Best to check w/your prescribing doc.

No: and is this Xanax (alprazolam) prescribed to YOU? If not, it is not safe under ANY circumstances. Xanax (alprazolam) is the most widely abused of all benzodiazepines in the US, in part because it hits the brain quick and hard, while having a short half-life that leaves you anxious again in just a few hours. Multiple sedating agents, even antihistamines (as in Zquil), may be dangerous. Talk to your prescriber/pharmacist.
