Notify your DR: I would suggest that you contact the MD who gave you the script for the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). IS this a new RX? Has the dose been changed? What are your other medical conditions? These are the questions that need more information and the DR who gave you the RX will have.

It's possible: Stimulants like Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) can cause increased anxiety, rapid heart rate and elevated blood pressure. So your vital signs should be monitored regularly while you are on these meds. If it persists, then the dose may need to be lowered or you should be switched to another med. Other substances like caffeine can also raise your heart rate. Naturally, if you exercise, your HR will go up.
