Pain: hypnosis when performed by an experienced practitioner can help with pain. Pain has both physical and emotional components and the perception of pain can be modified by behavioral modifications techniques

PT program: Physical therapy program may help. To best know how to treat your pain we need to know the cause. Activity can cause you pain but why? Is this joint issue, muscle issue, etc. Knowing the source of the pain will help your doctor plan a course of treatment other than mess alone. Please keep symptom and activity diary. Include location, character, quality, severity of pain. Show to doc. May help.

Mitochondrial?: In many instances, EDS hyperextensible type is caused by an underlying mitochondrial disorder. The mitochondria produce all the energy we need for normal function. EDS with mito may manifest as progressive daily fatigue, muscle/joint pain, dysautonomia, autoimmune disease. I advise a clinical genetics consultation.
