After a hemiplegic episode now i have pain in left shoulder?

Which side was hemi: Is the sore shoulder from the same side as the hemiplegia? It could suggest it moved more beyond the usual range when you had less control of that the side. If it was the other side it may be that you used the other side more with the hemiplegia to compensate for the loss. Or it could have nothing to do with the hemiplegia.
