Depends on…: How often the area is irritated with shaving or waxing. If left alone & use topical aloe vera gel & oral NSAID (aleve/advil/motrin) redness should resolve in few days. Tiny amount of otc Hydrocortisone (very small dab to cover entire involved area) can also speed resolution of redness. May recur every time u shave or wax.
