Corneal abrasion: Most likely the pain is due to a corneal abrasion, where there is a scratch on the cornea, the front surface of the eye. One also has to be concerned about a traumatic iritis, which is resultant inflammation inside the eye. Finally, there is the issue that the stick could have penetrated or perforated the cornea, which is an ophthalmic emergency. You should see your ophthalmologist.
