A member asked:

I had a swab done at my 6 week postpartum check and it has come back showing i have a streptococcus infection in my vagina - is this common?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes very common: If you have been found to have this in your vaginal culture in the pAst ,then you're what we call a colonizer. We only treat you in situations like prior to delivery ,to prevent neonatal infection.
