Group B Strep: Lives in the vagina and GI tract. If you had urinary burning symptoms and frequency, it may have been causing a urinary tract infection. (Although 70% of the time it is E. coli that causes UTIs). I always like to correlate the urinalysis with the urinary culture. You have a vaginal culture - which is different. You're not pregnant now so you don't have to worry about the baby with Group B Strep.
