You may have been...: ...using a burn ointment or perhaps a bandage who's adhesive you are allergic to. Or perhaps, because the new skin is more sensitive for now, it may be hypersensitive to a moisturizer you're using. Switch to petroleum jelly, hypogenic moisturizer or fragrance-free baby oil. Stick with a mild soap. If the rash doesn't subside, check with your doctor. Best wishes. Dr. Anne
