A member asked:

My period blood is brown and has been for around 8 or 9 months, it starts off really light and doesn't get any heavier maybe for 1 day out of 1 week?

Normal: What you describe is a normal variation on menstrual bleeding pattern. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco or alcohol in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
