Cervix bleeding: Sounds like you are pregnant and had your cervix checked, bleeding can happen at the time of the examination, but now it has been 4 hours and if it is still bright red blood that means it is still bleeding. You should call the hospital and arrange to be seen to make sure you and the baby are okay.

Cervical bleeding: If you checked the position of your cervix, you may be bleeding from some irritation from the cervix. It will stop after some time but if there was a cut on the cervix, may continue bleeding for a longer period of time. I would see your doctor if it continues.
