No infection: Most people with such symptoms have no infection at all. A prostate problem sometimes may be responsible. See Wikipedia on "chronic pelvic pain syndrome" and see if it matches your symptoms. Problems like this are very common after NGU or worrisome sexual events, but there is no evidence that any harm ever results, either for affected men or their sex partners. Symptoms probably will fade w/ time.
