A doctor has provided 1 answer

Carpal Tunnel: Carpal tunnel syndrome has tingling and numbness in the thumb and index, middle or ring fingers, but not the little finger. This sensation often occurs while holding a steering wheel, phone or newspaper or, waking from sleeping. Keep your wrist in a neutral position (splints help), take breaks from repetitive tasks. Also, see your doctor; many conditions need to be assessed such as RA, thyroid dz.
