If your doctor prescribed these together then, which is unlikely, then you should take them as prescribed.You should never have "left over" antibiotics as that means you did not follow instructions the last time. Need more info: These are prescription medications . Your physician who prescribed them has made the decision to prescribe these two drugs based on the kind of germs causing your infection. I feel that if you are concerned about these two drugs given together you should ask your physician for clarification.
