Yes: Recurrent localized skin infections can not uncommonly be seen in patients with diabetes. Diabetes can be associated with increased susceptibility to such infections. Heightened awareness and appropriate attention to hygiene is important to prevent this.

Reccurent boils: Boil are deep bacteria infections of hair follicles. Although most people with boils are healthy and hygienic but people with immune deficiencies , anaemia, diabetes , smoking and iron deficiency are predisposed to recurrent boils. Some people can carry the bacteria in their nostrils or armpits and other parts of body . In case of recurrent boils physicians in most cases do blood test and swabs .
