Mediterranean Diet: A diet rich in leafy green vegetables; cruciferous vegetables; colorful vegetables; fruit; limited animal protein, particularly red meat, so, free-range beef and poultry; cold-water fish; seafood; whole grains, nuts and seeds; healthy fats and dairy in moderation. Recommended activities would be to find some that excite you and make yourself accountable every day for at least 30 minutes.

Congratulations: On choosing a healthier lifestyle. Most successful people in this group start with one or two small changes and continue adding. They may start walking or running a bit more each day. They may substitute a salad for a full meal or fruit for a snack. These changes add up and aren't as difficult to track or manage everyday. Mine is less red meat and substituting chicken or fish. Good luck.
