It won't work: with stress fracture and most likely you have osteoporosis You need to be non weight bearing to heal appropriate. If you weight bear you are taking a risk of callus bone formation which bone growth around fracture that is weak and might cause refracture in future

To stress a point.: No method can predict exactly how long it will take a stress fracture to heal, under any conditions. Having said that, when you remove or substantially reduce the very stress that over powered the speed of your bone's ability to heal, then the fracture can repair itself. The accepted time frame is between 6-12 weeks or when all signs of fracture are gone. Non and limited weight bearing is best.
