Prolactinoma: FIRST DOUBLE CHECK PREGNANCY TEST! Knowing how you were dx's with PCOS is very important. It is a "diagnosis of exclusion" and there are many "mimicker" conditions that need to be checked before one can be told for sure it is PCOS. The most common mimicker is something called hyperprolactinemia, easily checked and causes usually easily treated. There are others like Cushing's dz but rare.
