See neurologist/EMG: The numbness and paresthesias may or may not be related to pressure on a spinal nerve. There is a possibility it could be a nerve problem more localized to the foot. A good place to start would be to see a neurologist who also does EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies...which may be needed to help diagnose the cause. Hope that helps!
