Fever to 103: is definitely abnormal. You should get another opinion or return to the first ED.

You need to go back.: I can't tell when this question was posed, but I urge you to go back to the ED that originally treated you. An ED diagnosis is always tentative, based on the best available evidence at the time of your presentation. You probably received some sort of instruction to return if you got worse. Without explanation for a fever of 103, this would definitely be a "worse". I hope you get better soon!
