Delayed bleeding: There was likely a small blood vessel that just started bleeding underneath the skin, causing the hematoma. It may have happened when the stitches were being removed or even something like washing your hair. Nothing incorrect done, just a thing. Your body will eventually reabsorb the hematoma; sometimes some will be left behind that can be uncomfortable, so you may prefer to have it evacuated
