A member asked:

Ovulated 8 days ago had sex, started cramps 5 days ago steadily getting worse, started bleeding yesterday thick clots and reddish brown, implantation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A woman bleeding "thick clots" from her vagina doesn't have to consider "implantation" as a cause. However, she can check a urine pregnancy test if she could be pregnant, and of course, contact her doctor if her bleeding of thick clots persists or worries her a lot. Home urine pregnancy tests are very accurate 3 weeks after sex, or 1 week after missing a period or having a "weird" period.
