May be okay: For head injury patients usually an observation of two days is enough to find out if there is a serious injury. If you have not gotten any new symptoms other than headache, then by this time it is safe to say that you don't have a serious injury. You can take over-the-counter medications for pain rather than couple of beers but I guess it should be fine.
