Maybe still herpes: Can't draw any conclusions with the information provided. What kind of herpes test? If a blood test, it takes several weeks after onset to become positive. A swab test for the virus (culture, PCR) often misses herpes. You may need additonal testing, and if your symptoms were typical for herpes, you still might need treatment. Also testing sex current or new sex partner(s) may sort it out.
