Epigastric pain: Pain in the epigastrium can be caused by many things, including acid reflux, ulcers, the gallbladder, pancreas, the heart, and the lungs, to name a few. If the pain is as severe as you are describing and has not been relieved by antacids, it probably is a good idea to see your doctor or go to an emergency room. Good luck.
