See below: Hyperosmia or increase sense of smell can be associated with a number of conditions such as: cluster headaches, migraines, adrenal cortical insufficiency, seizures, sinusitis and partial damage to the olfactory nerve, depression and other psychiatric disorders. In your case, this is lkiely due to inflammation related to your cold/sinuses. See your do if any problems result.
