Nope: The chancre (open sore) of newly acquired syphilis occurs only at the site of sexual exposure. The large majority of anal ulcers or sores are not syphilis. Anal fissure is most common. Herpes possible, but like syphilis, only if direct sexual contact. Secondary syphilis can result in superficial ulcers (mucous patches) anywhere on the body, but don't look like chancres.
