Irregular cycle: This is most likely just an irregular period. At 41, it is common to have irregular period cycles and are often part of the 'peri menopause' phase before menopause. Menopause is one full year with no period. Peri-menopause is that transition time and periods often become frequent and / or irregular. Did you do a pregnancy test? Talk to your doctor about starting hormones to help.
